How to Install jpegoptim software package in Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus)

jpegoptim software package provides utility to optimize jpeg files, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install jpegoptim

jpegoptim is installed in your system.

Make ensure the jpegoptim package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep jpegoptim *

You will get with jpegoptim package name, version, architecture and description in a table
